CBS Sports Network Signs Deal With The UFL

The “struggling-since-its-inception” United Football League has finally agreed to a deal with CBS Sports on a TV package.  The UFL has had to rely upon Versus and HDNet to broadcast their games, and when you combine that with recent financial struggles, things have not been good.

Under the new deal, CBS Sports will broadcast games twice per week (Wed, Fri night) throughout the 8-week season, giving diehard football fans an additional midweek fix when the NFL and NCAA aren’t playing.

No word on the exact terms of the deal yet.
