QB Sean Canfield Taking Snaps With Saints Starters

And it’s been bad apparently.  The 2011 7th round pick was shaky at best, tossing around incompletions and interceptions with QB Luke McCown. Canfield is filling in for Brees (contract) and Chase Daniel (hairline fracture in thumb), and the Saints better hope that both those situations get solved (they likely will) because Canfield was apparently awful.  Brees still isn’t signed, and Daniel will be out for at least 2-3 weeks, hopefully in due time they’ll both be back for the Saints sake…or Canfield makes some strides and shakes a few nerves out.  Who knows.
